Russia largest annual world music festival featuring both world starts and independent performers drawn to traditional folk music. In 2012 Wild Mint Festival joined the European Festivals Association, and in 2013 Afisha magazine ranked Wild Mint as world’s top 50 festivals.  Every year the festival attracts thousands of music lovers to have these three unforgettable days. Impressive versatile world music, fabulous street theatres, fire shows, outdoor movie nights and a fascinating landscape – the festival is an event people look forward to and visit again and again.   

In the past 7 years the performers were:  Alex Clare (UK), Sinead O'Connor (Ireland), Goran Bregović (Serbia), Katzenjammer (Norway), Tonino Carotone (Spain), Oquestrada (Portugal), N.O.H.A. (international project), Brainstorm (Latvia), Mgzavrebi and Nino Katamadze (Georgia), Varttina (Finland), Vopli Vidopliassova (Ukraine), mainstream Russian bands Aquarium, Surganova and Orchestra, Therr Maitz project and over thousands of bands from all over the world.  

Wild Mint festival is a breakthrough in festivals. This is a brand new form of pastime for people interested in the most notable manifestation of the contemporary culture. World music and dance, world cinematography, gourmet food from all over the world presented in World in your Plate area,  a “wild-growing” Dar-Bazar Handmade Fair and street theatres, Green Market offering eco food, and the unique “Green Age” area for mental and physical relaxation.
